Cutting board, wood cutting board, chopping block, serving board, WM15
This will make you look twice!! A combination of walnut and maple with thin strips of bubinga separating the pieces. The wood is cut, glued, cut again, glued again, sanded then finished with food grade mineral oil. A beautiful piece that would make a great wedding or birthday gift or sitting in the middle of your table.
How big am I?
Approximately 14" x 9.5" x 3/4". A perfect center piece or serving tray.
How do you care for me?
Made from walnut, maple and bubinga and finished with at least three coats of food grade mineral oil. With loving care (please do not put me in the sink or dishwasher) I will last many lifetimes. Wipe me clean after use and apply oil every month or so and I will look like the day I became a part of the family. Hot pans may leave a burn mark if set directly on me.
How am I made?
I started as a part of that big tree in the woods and after many years of standing alone and in the cold, I became a part of the Catoctin Woodwork family. They selected me over many others, treated me with respect, did some cutting, gluing, routing, sanding and finishing and here I am. Make me a part of your home. You will not be disappointed.
